Nomination Criteria

A judging panel, comprises of 3 coffee experts from different sectors of the industry, will grade each entry against the criteria stated under each category. Judges will assess the entries independently. Based on the scores given by the judging panel, the top 3 entries under each category will be shortlisted.  

The identity of the judges will be kept anonymous to ensure that there is no influence from the public and scores given are entirely based on their own judgment. 

From the top 3 entries, we will then turn the vote for each category to the whole industry. The final score will be determined by the voting results from the public. The eligibility and the assessment criteria of the 4 categories of awards are based on the followings:

  • Indonesia’s Favorite Coffee Brand (Cafe)
  • Indonesia’s Favorite Coffee Brand (Retail)

International Category

  • Indonesia’s Favorite Coffee Brand (Retail)
  • Indonesia’s Favorite Coffee Brand (Cafe)
Eligibility:Assessment Criteria (same for both categories):
  • Local and International coffee brands that are either based or have a branch in Indonesia
  • Displayed originality in coffee provision and flavour
  • Long-term market potential and commerciality of the brand
  • Show uniqueness against other similar coffee brands
  • Innovative and introduces new promotions and products regularly
  • The brand has a track record of success in the Indonesian market
