Conference Producer

You will be working directly with the Head of the Production team on one of our most important launches in biologics portfolio.  This is a unique experience to work directly with one of the most talented individuals in our business and a thought leader in the biologics conference industry.

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct primary and secondary market research on a given industry to come up with conference content, identify and confirm high-level speakers.
  • Engage in intellectual conversations with business people and senior executives on the phone
  • Write, edit and produce world-class content
  • Research and write commercially attractive conference programs as well as all related promotional materials such as flyers, EDMs, brochures and website.
  • Source and recruit c-level or senior level speakers for B2B conferences
  • Liaise with speakers, sponsors and other stakeholders involved in the conference
  • Project manage event execution together with the events team and other departments
  • Brief & support sponsorship and delegate sales teams
You are:
  • Good Degree holder (Life Sciences/Biomed Engineering preferred)
  • Love to speak to senior level decision makers (VPs, CEOs, Directors) and thought leaders over the phone and face to face
  • Able to travel overseas to host conferences
  • Resourceful, eloquent, strong hunger for new information and knowledge
  • Able to manage the deadlines, cost and quality of your projects
  • Persuasive and a strong negotiator skills with positive attitude, cheerful and confident
  • Resilient and determined in the face of obstacles
  • Relevant working experience (conference production, content writing, journalism and communication) of 2 years is an advantage but not required.
  • Proficiency in Chinese/Korean/Japanese language will an advantage.
  • Fresh graduates may be considered on an exceptional basis.
  • Local Singaporean or Permanent Resident preferred. EP/Dependent pass holders/ LTVP holders may also apply.

Annual Estimated Target Earnings: 30-40K Basic + 20-30K profit share

Business Development Manager

You will be part of the business development team for the life sciences division, you will be dealing with the future of medicine. Finding new opportunities and prospects to grow the division. Help clients find solutions to invigorate their marketing campaign and business expansions. Build relationships with new clients and maintain existing ones. You will travel to events held around the world.

Job Responsibility
  • Work closely with the clients to deliver solutions that solve their business challenges and cultivate strong relationships with clients’ senior executives through both in-person meetings and meetings over the phone.
  • Identifying the target market and prospective companies and investigating their business needs in order to engage them to be part of our conferences
  • Conduct market and lead research within an assigned market to affirm commercial viability of projects
  • Engaging CEOs, Vice Presidents and all other senior level decision-makers over the phone, written correspondence or face-to-face, to understand their business objectives and match them with the benefits of attending your conference
  • Develop a continuous pipeline of leads to generate new business opportunities
  • Maintain and produce sales reports for periodic meetings
  • Travel for on-site management
  • Being an integral part of the project team creating the most impactful business festival of the year
  • Providing impeccable customer service before and after the event
  • Being a passionate advocate for the event and brand
  • Attending events to network with clients and generate new business opportunities

You are:

  • A Good Degree/Diploma holder
  • Hungry for a good commission from your own efforts
  • B2B sales or marketing experience would be an advantage
  • Able to travel overseas (as and when required)
  • Excellent communication, persuasion and negotiation skills

Marketing Intern

You will be working directly with the Head of marketing on the biologics portfolio.  This is a unique experience to work directly with one of the most talented individuals in our business.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assisting Marketing Managers in creating and implementing various marketing campaigns, crafting social media strategies and working with media partners for various projects
  • Writing and editing marketing materials like brochures and EDMs
  • Assisting Marketing managers in creating, implementing and meeting marketing plans and timelines for various projects
  • Assisting Marketing Managers and Project Managers with project write-ups and descriptions
  • Track, measure and record performances of implemented marketing plans and strategies
  • Maintenance of statistical databases
  • Editing and managing website content periodically
  • Working on branding initiatives
  • Conducting Market Research / Analysis / Reporting
  • Assist Operations Manager in executing conference planning
  • Assist with executing and managing internal company events
  • Translation of documents, as and when necessary
  • Attend and play a critical role in the delivery of our world-class conferences

You are:

  • A strong communicator and writer of English and one or more of the flowing Asian languages: Japanese, Korean or Bahasa Indonesian, would be advantageous.
  • Passionate and willing to learn about events, market research and biotechnology
  • A really excellent communicator. concise, engaging, calm and thorough.
  • Looking to work somewhere fun. Yearning for more responsibility and a reason to look forward to Mondays.
  • Able to work as an intern in Singapore with one of the following statuses: Singaporean or Singapore permanent resident or a foreigner undergraduate or graduate who possess a relevant pass to legally work in Singapore (for example: Work Holiday Pass)
  • Local Singaporean, Permanent Resident, or those eligible for the work holiday pass are preferred.
