JONATHAN WHELAN – GENERAL MANAGER
Jonathan Whelan oversees the day-to-day management and strategic direction of IMAPAC media, and is responsible for achieving the company’s operational and financial objectives. Over the past 6 years, Jonathan has cultivated a proven track record in coordinating million pound portfolios, managing key accounts and steering strategic direction of profit centres across a diverse range of sectors. From his beginnings as a Project Manager at a renowned International Events Company in London, Jonathan developed rapidly, to become one of the youngest General Managers in the Company’s history. This allowed him to gain over 5 years’ experience in senior management positions working with C-suite executives, launching new products, building communities and driving sales. Attracted by the challenge of working in one of the most dynamic markets in the world, he moved to Singapore in 2015, where he joined the IMAPAC family shortly after. Jonathan has a strong strategic mind for the conference business and a natural ability in transferring his knowledge in sales, research and production in order to grow world leading conference teams and portfolios.
TINGTING WANG – STRATEGIC & CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Tingting is responsible in developing, communicating, executing and sustaining strategic and creative initiatives at IMAPAC media. She started as a stem cell scientist before embarking on a career in the business media industry. She is a creative problem solver and is always onto the next big idea to either launching a new concept or make business processes leaner or better! With the vision to create a business that does not only do well but do good, she co-founded IMAPAC media, which strives to address imminent social issues by bringing together top industry minds at global cause-driven conferences to brainstorm solutions and craft action plans. Previously Tingting served as General Manager for Terrapinn.
MELANIE WIGHTMAN – HUMAN RESOURCE & OFFICE MANAGER
Her role includes staffing, employment development, compensation and benefits administration. She is working closely with the management team to build on the long term growth and development of IMAPAC and its employees. Prior to joining IMAPAC, she has worked in both the UK and Singapore and brings over 10 years of experience as an HR Generalist.
