According to the Ministry of Health of Singapore, there are 92 suspected cases of the virus in total but so far no new confirmed case reported of the Wuhan virus as of 24 January 2020,

Out of the 92 suspected cases, 42 were tested negative while the other 42 test results are pending. Singapore has only confirmed four cases of the Wuhan virus, with the 4th case reported last Sunday (19 January 2020).

The latest confirmed patient is currently isolated while being treated at Sengkang General Hospital.

Close contacts of the patient were also contacted to ensure that they were not infected by the virus.

So far other cases that were confirmed in Singapore were a 66-year-old Wuhan resident, a 37-year-old son and a 53-year-old woman, all of which are currently being isolated and treated.

Contacts of those who might have been in touch with these people are also being monitored to minimize the impact of the virus in Singapore.
