The Chinese authorities have reported on February 11 (Tuesday) that the number of death cases from the Wuhan Coronavirus has reached a total of 1,011 cases.
Hubei province (Epicenter of the outbreak) have reported 103 new death cases and other 2,097 infected cases of the virus. With these new additions, the total number of confirmed cases totals up to over 42,200 cases in China alone.
Yesterday (February 10), President Xi Jinping of China has met with medical workers and patients at a hospital and has called for stricter measures to contain the outbreak.
Currently, a team of medical professionals from the World Health Organization, led by Bruce Aylward who also led the response team during the Ebola epidemic (2014-2016), was dispatched on a mission to help China fight the outbreak of the Coronavirus.
