Dose-Response Modelling

Dose-response modelling mathematically describes the relationship between drug dose or exposure and the resulting biological or clinical response.

Dose-response modelling quantitates pharmaceutical efficacy and toxicity dependencies on administered dose. Sigmoidal curves characterise threshold response below minimum dose and saturation above maximum. Hill coefficients quantitate curve steepness. EC50 and TD50 parameters define dose-response relationships. Population heterogeneity produces varied dose-response profiles.
