Inducible Expression System

An inducible expression system is a genetic system that enables controlled gene expression in response to specific external stimuli such as chemicals, temperature or light.

An inducible expression system is a controlled genetic mechanism allowing gene expression to be turned on or off in response to a specific external stimulus such as a chemical, temperature change, or light. Unlike constitutive systems that express genes continuously, inducible systems offer precise temporal and quantitative control over protein production.
